Constructed in 1683 and meticulously maintained, the Old Parsonage is one of the most important historic houses on Cape Cod. Elegant and substantial, it offers large, sun-lit rooms with broad pine-board floors and four working fireplaces. There are four bedrooms and three full baths and a master bedroom suite with private bath on the first floor. A converted carriage house serves as a bright, airy family room, and a modern kitchen addition with porch, specifically designed to blend with the character of the house. A key feature is the property itself. Located on a rural road, the house sits on three-acres of wooded land directly abutting 300 acres of conservation area, yet a minutes drive to beaches and villages of West Barnstable and Barnstable. The house served as the Parsonage of West Parish Congregational Church for over 100 years.
