High-end home sales climb on the Cape

We often write about the gorgeous vistas and beautiful views that surround the luxury real estate in our country. That's certainly true of Cape Cod, which is defined by visual wonders as far as the eye can see. In fact, the area boasts many beautiful places to gaze out at landscapes that some may say its the primary attraction of the location.

East Sandwich Beach
You'll find few better places on the Cape to gaze at the sunset than this luminous shoreline. Additionally, there's plenty of space here - so even if you come on a warm and busy summer night, you'll certainly find plenty of room for you and your guests to relax. Most of the time, though, there's a light crowd at East Sandwich, making it one of the better getaways for those looking to have a romantic night taking in the sights of the sky.

Herring Cove
This spot offers you a view of the Cape's beautiful landscapes from the west coast. When you look out into the water here, there are essentially no other landscapes visible whatsoever, though. So if the perfect spot to watch the sunset from is what you're looking for, this may be your solution - the sky is going to be the only thing you'll see.

The Bourne Bridge
Teri Stanley, of the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce, said that the Bourne Bridge is for those in search of a great view - but only if you're "truly brave of heart," according to the Cape Cod Travel website. You'll have to park the car and go on a bit of a walk to reach the center of this bridge, but the phenomenal sights you'll take in, from up on high over much of the area, are well worth it. Some people like to engage in extreme sports - consider a trek up the Bourne Bridge to be a form of extreme sightseeing.

Cook's Brook Beach, in Eastham
?"During the winter, you can sit in your car at the end of the parking lot which practically touches the water," Jim Russo, executive director of the Eastham Chamber of Commerce, told Cape Cod Travel. "Even in the winter, it's a beautiful spot with unobstructed views." His comments are spot on: most of the spots detailed above are perfect summer getaways, but considering the particularly unique parking situation, Cook's Brook Beach may be the best place to take in a sunset - or any other sky-based sight - during the snowy months. Even on the chillier summer evenings, you may find this place the perfect dusk destination.

Paines Creek, in Brewster
The water here is known to be some of the most relaxing and warm on Cape Cod (it's on the bay side, as opposed to the coastal side of the ocean,) but it also features a wide-scope view of the sky, unobstructed by buildings or roads, that many locals treasure. So here's yet another spot where you can enjoy a wonderful day at the beach, followed by a sunset as beautiful as any you've ever seen before

At the end of the day, though, these are but a few of the gorgeous sightseeing spots that Cape Cod offers. In fact, this is merely a list of locations that are characteristic of the great beauty that defines the entire Cape Cod area. Those who live in Cape Cod's beautiful real estate are already well aware: this may be the most breathtaking area this country has to offer.
