East Falmouth has many neighborhoods: Maravista has a number of small lots with most of the homes upgraded to today’s standards; there are several boat landings along each side of the peninsular and a beach at the end plus Bristol Beach a short distance away. Acapesket Rd is another peninsula that joins Menahaunt Road, there are many large homes on the Green Pond side and on the other side, Great Pond. Great Harbors development with association pool, club house and playground for residents is located there. Historic Davisville, is one of the six peninsulas on the east side of Falmouth that goes from south of Rt 28 to Menahaunt Road and has a small public beach at the Davisville Extension road. Central Avenue has many historic homes and had strawberry and horse farms and also joins Menahaunt Road and the Menahaunt Yacht Club and is closest to Menahaunt Beach. Going along Rt 28 you will come to Seacoast Shores with its own association, several side beaches and on the East side, views of Washburn Island which is available to boaters for picnics. The next area of East Falmouth is called Waquoit which has a harbor, many beautiful homes and its own boat landings. On the other side of Rt 28 is a section in the middle of East Falmouth called Hatchville which includes land on both sides of Rt 151, Thomas B. Landers Road and the edge of West Falmouth. Hatchville has many farms and ponds and several beautiful associations. As you can see East Falmouth encompasses a very large area of Falmouth.
