Laura Blair
Laura Blair, originally from Fitchburg, Massachusetts, relocated to Cape Cod 11 years ago. After high school, Laura attended The American University in Washington, DC, where she earned her undergraduate and graduate degree in Public Communications.
Laura spent most of her time in Washington, DC working in the area of media and public relations, helping the companies she worked for perform social philanthropy as part of their business model. She spent many years helping the members of the National Association of Underwriters (NALU) get attention from congressmen for their good community service work. After that, Laura worked for Southwestern Bell Communications as its community relations director in Rockville, Maryland and Arlington, Virginia, assisting the company with its outreach efforts. Laura's forte is helping put people together, address local and state social needs, and help businesses reap the benefits of good public relations.
Several years ago, Laura began working in the real estate arena on Cape Cod. The majority of her formal work was at Willowbend Real Estate, a gated residential golf community, where she served also as its Membership Director and was a top producer for the club.
