Belgravia is considered one of London's best residential real estate addresses. Home to one of the most prestigious areas of London real estate, Eaton Square, Belgravia was developed by gentleman builder Thomas Cubit in the 1820s. The heart of the Grosvenor Estate, the district also includes the other delightful garden squares of Chesham Place and Belgrave Square. With magnificent stucco-fronted Belgravia properties elegantly laid out throughout the area, this neighborhood is almost exclusively residential with a number of restaurants, bars and delicatessens on Elizabeth Street. The quarter is bordered by Buckingham Palace to the east, Chelsea to the west and Hyde Park to the north.
