The hamlet of Armonk is a picturesque community located in the town of North Castle in northeastern Westchester County. Long known for being the headquarters of IBM, Armonk is home to 11,000 residents who enjoy its bustling town center and the variety of neighborhoods and real estate that surround it. Armonk was settled in 1730 by the Quakers. The area is home to two historical sites, George Washington's Headquarters and Smith's Tavern.
