Sanoj Stephen

Senior Vice President, General Counsel

Sanoj Stephen joined Sotheby's International Realty in 2004 as Corporate Counsel and became Senior Vice President and General Counsel in 2006. He manages the company's legal department and is responsible for all legal matters impacting the company. Sanoj works closely with senior management, advising on corporate strategy, corporate transactions, litigation and regulatory matters.

Prior to joining the company, Sanoj practiced law in New York City as a corporate attorney at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, LLP, where he advised public and private companies. Through a pro bono initiative between Kramer Levin and South Brooklyn Legal Services, Sanoj also served as a litigator at the legal services office, where he represented clients in housing court and various state agency proceedings. He has appeared and argued before housing court, civil court and administrative law judges. Sanoj has also worked in the general counsel's office at Newmark & Company Real Estate, Inc., as well as the New York office of Ropes & Gray LLP (formerly known as Reboul, MacMurray, Hewitt, Maynard & Kristol).

Sanoj earned his J.D. from Fordham Law School and his B.A., cum laude, from Columbia University.
