Near Ventura Harbor this weekend? Take a cruise!10 Jul 2014 6:12 PM
The Ventura Harbor offers a number of beautiful sights to the residents that live in the luxury real estate surrounding the area. If you want to get a truly transcendent look at those sites, though, you may do best to take a look at them from the water. With an upcoming dinner cruise scheduled for this weekend, you'll be able to do just that.
The "Pirate Cruise" dinner trip will be taking place this Saturday, July 13, at 7 p.m., after departing from the Ventura Harbor. It's quite the boat that you'll be taking this expedition on, too. The dinner cruise will be taking place on a 64-foot catamaran, stocked with dinner and drinks. Better yet, there will be live entertainment during the entire night - the Unkle Monkey Band will be providing "island music" throughout every moment of the boat's trip.
Fares for the trip can be paid at the Ventura Harbor Village website, so that you may guarantee you (and your family) will have a seat on the trip. You can also see more details on the times and sail-off locations for the event at the website. Fare for adults is $56, with the price dropping to $52 for seniors and $43 for children ages 12 and under. No alcohol is allowed on the boat, of course - but that's OK, because there's a cash bar onboard. Special draft beer from Anacapa Brewery, along with a large collection of wines, will be ready for order on the boat.
So, make your way down to the harbor this weekend - you can be sure you'll be returning home with many a new memory logged from the trip.
