Transcendence Theatre Company's Broadway Under the Stars program picks back up20 Aug 2014 3:26 PM
If you live in some of the luxury real estate lining the West Coast, then it's easy to get jealous about the cultural offerings on hand out east. When you look at Broadway programs scheduled, you can't help but wish you could enjoy the same performances out west. Now you can!
The Broadway Under the Stars program brings multiple different shows to Jack London Historic park in Glen Ellen, California every year. These shows bring some of the greatest Broadway performers, harmony and dancing to audiences on the other side of the country. You don't have to worry about missing out anymore: thanks to the Transcendence Theatre Company, Broadway can come to you.
This weekend, the company will be holding their "Music of the Night" event, which promises "a splendid mix of inspiration ... from contemporary and classical Broadway songs to popular music and beyond, in just a sip of wine." This particular show will be offered this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, at 7:30 p.m. each night.
The performers, as always, are comprised of some of Broadway's hottest names: Amy Miller of "42nd Street," Brad Surosky of CBS' "Cold Case" and Brooke Tansley of "Hairspray," are just a few of the performers who will be on hand.
Where can I get tickets for the event?
Tickets for the event are available at the Transcendence Theatre Company's website - and you'll have a few options to choose from. General admission seats are available for $42, but you may want to consider the premium admission tickets available for $75. Those bring with them personally selected premium reserved seating - so if you want to make sure you have some of the best seats in the house, this is the way to go.
However, high rollers - or anyone accustomed to fine living - may want to pay the $125 price for VIP seats. With these tickets, you'll get VIP seating, VIP parking, two complimentary glasses of wine, access to exclusive bars and lounges during the course of the evening and more. If you want to have the swankiest time possible during the show, the VIP ticket is the way to go.
People on the West Coast can enjoy the pleasures of Broadway without any plane or road trip required. Broadway is "under the stars" at Jack London park this weekend - and all local musical lovers can't afford to miss it.
