Susan and her husband, Doug, have owned and developed many properties in the past 35 years, thus acquiring significant skills and knowledge in the many details of buying, selling and owning real estate. Years of experience dealing with the complexities of city and county requirements have given her the expertise of knowing what to do in property development. Experience has taught her who the best referrals are for every job. From lenders and inspectors to consultants, architects and contractors, Susan refers to the best in every field. Developing their own cabernet sauvignon vineyard, which contracts with a local winery, has given Susan and Doug extensive knowledge of the wine and vineyard business. Doug is now an award-winning amateur winemaker and also grows and presses his own olive oil.

Along with her love of real estate, Susan finds that the greatest part of working in the real estate business is the long-lasting friendships that she and Doug have formed with clients who now are good friends.
