Joyce Davison was born in Detroit, Michigan and after 12 years at an all girls’ Catholic school, she attended and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Development and Education.
While waiting to begin her first teaching job in Michigan, Joyce left for a tour of the country and ended up in San Francisco. She met her husband that summer, and together, they decided to make the Bay Area their home. After the birth of her four daughters, Joyce became a single parent and she decided that teaching wasn't an option for economic reasons, so she obtained her real estate license. Within her first month as a broker, Joyce was the top producing agent in her office and during her first few years, she was a consistent top producer in the East Bay marketplace.
In 1988, Joyce was hired to manage a brokerage office in Concord. She immediately started training, recruiting and managing the small office and within six months, the office grew to be nationally recognized as one of the top 10% of offices within the parent company’s system nationwide and within a year, it was considered to be in the top 1% of all offices. Joyce obtained her Broker's License in 1990 and purchased the office.
In 1994, Joyce sold her business and moved to Sonoma where she was a consistent top producer and the recipient of Frank Howard Allen's Presidential award every year from 1999 through 2011. In 2002, Joyce received recognition for being in the top 10% of all realtors in the country.
Joyce has seen many changes in the industry, all for the best since her industry debut in 1977.
Today, Joyce has four grown daughters and 13 grandchildren, including two sets of twins! The grandchildren range in age from one to 18 years old. Joyce has many interests, not limited to Mahjong, Bridge, reading and travelling the world. Joyce loves her job as a real estate agent; she loves serving people and helping them with the biggest purchase of their lives.
