The Chambers Ranch
Step back into the history of Northern New Mexico when ranching was the way of life. Today relive and enjoy the lore of the Wild West. The Chambers Ranch has the original log cabin homestead, hay barn, livestock barn, chicken coops, rabbit hutches, corrals and root cellar. The acreage, encompassing over 2,862 varied and view acres, is vast with a seasonal stream, stock ponds, 1.5 miles of the Petaca (gorge) full of cottonwood trees, petroglyphs and forage for elk, deer, antelope, bear and mountain lion. Views are expansive and encompass Mt. Blanca in Colorado to the north, the Sangre de Cristos to the east and south, as well as the Santa Fe and Jemez Mountains to the west. The Ranch is located 30 miles northwest of Taos and 60 miles north of Santa Fe. The ranch is right off Highway 285, 6 miles south of Tres Piedras, New Mexico. Very few places offer the expanse and the feel of an era gone by like The Chambers Ranch.
