Originally from historic Woodstock, Vermont, Judith Ivey has a diverse background living in cities around the world. She spent her early youth traveling Europe, spending a year in Provence before moving to New York City. Judith studied journalism at the New School for Social Research and went into the film industry to produce commercials for a variety of artists and creative people. The job took her to San Francisco and Hanover, New Hampshire, where she eventually managed a film and video production company for three years prior to moving to Santa Fe in 1991.
Judith fell in love with this remarkable city and its culture—so different from places she lived before and yet so aligned with her inspired sensibility. Here, Judith worked for Rick Johnson Advertising in Albuquerque. She also ran the Santa Fe office for a Dallas-based production company before starting my own business, Santa Fe Pictures, which represented high-end commercial directors.
Real estate, Judith has learned, is her business. She has been a successful agent for eighteen productive years. She specializes in residential real estate and vacant land development and produces results for anyone looking to sell or buy a home. Her intuition and tenacity has taken her around the world and makes her a valuable asset to clients looking for an engaged and hardworking agent. Judith understands how Santa Fe’s eclectic community runs in this unique climate; sometimes harsh, sometimes mild, but always changing. (Where else can you ski in the morning and play golf all afternoon?) Her motto for clients is patience: take your time and make sure you are getting everything you want and need.
