Growing up in a South Texas ranching family, Paula was instilled with a sense of responsibility, fairness, perseverance and respect for others, values that always remain important.

After attending a girl's school for 12 years, she went to the University of Texas, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. The summer after her sophomore year, Paula attended the University of Colorado. She fell in love with northern New Mexico while visiting Taos on her way back to Texas. Many trips later in 1998, New Mexico became a permanent stay when she made the historical city of Santa Fe her home.

Paula has enjoyed success in the sale of luxury properties since becoming a Realtor in Houston, Texas, in the late 1960s. She was associated with Robin Elverson, who at the time was the premier luxury broker specializing in River Oaks and other upscale subdivisions. She was also associated with Eden Box in Austin, Texas, before moving to New Mexico.

Some of her premier listings in Santa Fe have been featured in The Wall Street Journal's House of the Week, the Robb Report Collection, Unique Homes, Mountain Living, Texas Monthly, Variety and the International Herald Tribune.

Paula is a Certified Luxury Marketing Specialist and a member of the Million Dollar Guild of the Institute for Luxury Marketing. She served on their Advisory Board for the Leaders in Luxury conference in 2006.

Having built several homes and collaborated with the designs, including an award-winning home in Santa Fe, Paula has experience in new construction as well as resale. While she specializes in luxury properties, the same exceptional service and attention to her clients is given regardless of their price range.

An interior designer, avid gardener, great cook and occasional artist, Paula loves to travel, entertain her friends and read a good book.
