A San Antonio native, Patricia graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Spanish. She worked in sales and management in fashion and art before becoming a Realtor in Santa Fe in 1988. A Rio Grande School parent, she is married to attorney David Carlson Smith, a Yale graduate who practices intellectual property. She is also a member of the Santa Fe Chapter of the sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma and in the Social Directory of San Antonio, Texas. When she can find the time, she enjoys skiing, attending concerts, traveling, scuba diving, fly fishing and collecting art.

With her background in sales, Patricia brings people skills to closing deals. Her experience in Santa Fe real estate transactions has branched out into the complexities of mortgage financing, title insurance, construction matters and a multitude of successful sales where both buyers and sellers are more than satisfied with the end results.
