Mary Joy Ford

Mary Joy Ford has been a Santa Fe resident for over 25 years. The unique, sculptural quality of the architecture, the city's rich cultural heritage and its diverse population, combined with the stunning natural beauty, drew her to the area and continues to inspire her life here.

She works in every area of real estate, including single-family homes, condominiums, multi-plex properties and land sales. Her sales activity includes the historic Eastside, Guadalupe and South Capital areas, as well as high-end luxury homes in the La Tierra and Las Campanas developments. During her career, many of her transactions have set record sales prices, and she has been awarded honors for top sales production. Her broad experience also lends itself to commercial and investment properties.

Mary Joy is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the National Council of Residential Specialists and the Santa Fe Association of Realtors. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Historic Santa Fe Association, SWAIA (Southwest Association on Indian Art - Indian Market) and the American Association of University Women.

She earned her MA in Energy and Environmental Management from the University of New Mexico and worked for several years as Bureau Chief (New Mexico State Government) of energy efficiency programs, developing and implementing solar and alternative transportation fuels projects for residential and commercial sectors throughout the state. Her previous experience as a psychiatric social worker makes her an excellent listener, mediator and negotiator.
