A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Kent received a Bachelor's degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. When he and his wife, Mary, first met, they discovered a shared love for the arts and the beauty of the southwest. Their honeymoon brought them to Santa Fe. After 20 years in college and university business management, Kent began a career in real estate in 1994.

He assists both home buyers and sellers, primarily in the Eldorado/285 area where he and Mary live. Kent is described as knowledgeable, thorough, patient in assisting buyers and aggressive in marketing sellers' homes. He serves Santa Fe's home buyers and sellers with exceptional energy, responsiveness and attention to detail.

Kent felt drawn to Santa Fe for its brilliant sunlight, deep blue skies, mountains and wide open spaces, the abundance of excellent galleries and performing arts organizations, and the unpretentiousness and diversity of the people.
