Kathryn moved to Santa Fe over 20 years ago with her husband and children in 1987, after a short hiatus living in Nairobi, Kenya. Using her education and experience working in the interior design field and her strong background in retail sales she started a mail order catalog, The Best of Santa Fe. She hand picked and featured over 100 of New Mexico's finest artists and artisans. During the catalogs lifetime it was distributed to over 1 million shoppers through direct mail. Her hands on approach to marketing and design helped to insure its success. It was a great way to feature the unique style and beauty of Southwestern home furnishings, fashion, and jewelry... and to let the rest of the world get a glimpse of the character of our fair city. Most of all, it was a wonderful entree to the community and artists of Santa Fe. Most recently she has been designing jewelry that has sold throughout the country in over 80 of the finest shops, boutiques and museums. She was a featured artist at our own New Mexico Fine Art Museum shop a few years back and very proud to show her jewelry in the New York American Folk Art Museum shop in conjunction with a retrospective of American jewelry. Kathryn's creativity spills over to every aspect of her life. She enjoys painting, cooking, entertaining, and living the good life in Santa Fe... always trying to be aware of the beauty that surrounds her. Kathryn has many very satisfied clients from 1st time home buyers to multi million dollar property sellers.
