Lynda Bohnett has a rich heritage in Santa Barbara and offers local knowledge of neighborhoods, schools, events and activities. Her grandfather was mayor during the 1950s, and Bohnett Park on the west side of town is named after him in honor of his civic contributions. Lynda's father, F. Newell Bohnett, partnered with Sam Battistone in founding a restaurant chain called Sambo’s Restaurants, which had over 1,000 units nationally, headquartered in Santa Barbara. Because of her love of the area, Lynda raised her three children locally, and is now working on the next generation of her family as a doting grandmother.

Lynda has had decades of real estate experience. She and her husband were investors in California and Hawaiian real estate since the 1970s. Both were also involved in commercial real estate and appraisal endeavors for many years. With these experiences Lynda brings to her practice strong marketing, negotiating and a tenacious commitment to closing each escrow.

Lynda has a devotion to conservation and sustainable green building and landscape methods. Lynda's family developed Puulani Ranch Estates on her family's ranch, Puuwaawaa Ranch on the Big Island of Hawaii. The development focused on preserving the local Hawaiian traditions of Big Island ranching.

When Lynda is not selling Santa Barbara, she volunteers her time with cancer prevention organizations, healing prayer ministries and helping young mothers through a natural childbirth process.
