Kathleen Soulages

Kathleen is a realtor who understands her clients' needs, knows her territory and communicates. Crucial to the success of any real estate agent, these are areas where Kathleen excels. Her exceptional appreciation of, and respect for, her clients' varied backgrounds and needs comes via her extensive traveling throughout the U.S. and Europe. Among other international cultural and business experiences, she spent two years as a teacher at the International School of Paris.

Kathleen is exceptionally knowledgeable of the real estate industry. In addition, as a Santa Barbara resident for over 21 years, the last 16 of those in Montecito, she has achieved intimate knowledge of the area's neighborhoods, services, culture and amenities. As a mother of four children, she has gained direct experience with the community's schools and activities.

Kathleen's strong communication skills have been enhanced by these experiences on the professional, international and domestic fronts. She emphasizes that effective communication is dependent on consideration. She believes that the wants and needs of the client buying or selling a small condo are just as important as those of the client buying or selling the largest estate.

Born in Pasadena, California, Kathleen graduated from U.C., Santa Barbara. Eventually settling in Los Angeles, she was a national account representative for ITT, serving major corporations. Always knowing that Santa Barbara was the ideal place to live and raise a family, Kathleen and her husband moved to the area in 1992.

Although she loves traveling, Kathleen spends most of her time in Santa Barbara, where she is active in community groups and enjoys hiking and tennis. She loves the community for its culture, excellent education and weather, and superb variety of some of the most beautiful homes in the country. Kathleen finds Santa Barbara to be a realtor's dream, and she is proud to be able to share it with her clients.
