Jennifer has been successfully guiding her clients from start to finish through the sales and purchase of single-family residences throughout the Santa Barbara area since 2003. She brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, understanding and personal touch to each real estate transaction.

A longtime resident of Santa Barbara and mother of two, Jennifer spent her youth growing up in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles and the pristine coves of Laguna Beach. Extensive travel throughout the United States and several European and South American countries has enriched Jennifer's ability to blend the balance between her clients' desires and architecture, landscape and native surroundings.

Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, Jennifer's passion for business was ignited working in the summer as a marketing assistant at her parents' firm, Barnes International Marketing Group, which specialized in the Indy Race car series and Formula One races. From there, her professional and management career path in retail sales finance with Security Pacific Bank in Newport Beach and Merrill Lynch in Los Angeles launched her to New York, where she was responsible for creating, managing and orchestrating a worldwide mainframe upgrade and conversion.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics and Biology from the University of Santa Barbara. She is currently a member of the Santa Barbara Association Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and the California National Association of Realtors. Locally, Jennifer has been active assisting several non-profit organizations, co-founded the Community Arts Music Association Fellows Group and served as a tour docent at Casa Del Herrero in Montecito.
