Francie Berezo

Francie Berezo has been a Realtor in Santa Barbara since 2005. Her sales have included both single-family residences and condominiums, stretching from Ojai to Lompoc, but mainly her specialty is Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito and Carpinteria. Her clientele ranges from first-time buyers to cash investors, from single persons to empty-nesters, from locals to foreigners.

Working with both buyers and sellers, Francie sees both sides of the negotiation process. In addition, she has earned the Short Sale Foreclosure Resource Designation (SFR) and has represented buyers and sellers in both short sales and foreclosures. In an effort to help promote and coordinate educational presentations to the local Realtors, Francie also volunteers on the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors Education Committee.

For nearly 20 years, Francie has lived in Santa Barbara and graduated from UCSB with High Honors in Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology. She has also lived in Ohio, Oregon and Spain and has a working knowledge of Spanish.

Francie's past work experience includes teaching in special education, teaching English abroad, counseling young women and massage therapy. Her life's work has centered around helping people, and this has greatly improved her communication skills, patience, personal strength and gratitude.

Volunteering in wildlife rehabilitation sanctuaries with seals on the Oregon coast and chimpanzees in Bend, Oregon, has greatly enhanced Francie's life. She has also volunteered on two different occasions at Steve Irwin's zoo in Beerwah, Australia.

Francie enjoys Santa Barabara and all it offers in art, music, hiking and beautiful beaches. Her other interests include traveling globally, jewelry making and friendship.
