A native Californian, Evelyn Cavins has been a resident of Santa Barbara for 36 years. After graduating from college, Evelyn and her husband decided the best place to live in California is Santa Barbara. Both avid sailors, they felt the luxury of owning a sailboat and sailing weekly was too much temptation.

Evelyn owned and managed her own retail store in Santa Barbara for approximately 10 years when her two children were quite young. When both of her children were in school, she decided that the career she really wanted to pursue was real estate. That was 13 years ago. Joining Pitts and Bachmann, a local real estate company, and then staying on when the company was acquired by Sotheby's International Realty has been a wonderful experience.

Evelyn focuses on the best personal service possible, knowing that buying and selling real estate, especially in Santa Barbara, can be very stressful. She earned her Senior Real Estate Specialist designation last year and will complete her Certified Resident Specialist this year. She was selected as Agent of the Month for May 2007 by Broker Agent Magazine.
