Joe has successfully completed the Coldwell Banker S.T.A.R.T program, as well as all California required course study to receive his real estate license. He attended San Jose State College and West Valley Junior College.
He has spent over 30 years as a buyer in the retail business. Most recently he spent 23 years at Macy's West based in San Francisco, with expertise in procurement, forecasting and developing merchandise strategies to meet company objectives and goals. He established department direction for store teams and executed marketing plans.
Joe's business background has honed his skills in several areas. In marketing, he has the know-how to develop the right marketing system to maximize buyer views, with the goal being the sale. In merchandising, he has the eye to present a home in its best light. In negotiation, he has the ability to overcome issues and to achieve desired results. In communication, he has strong verbal and writing skills. He has many years of experience working with many different personalities.
Joe has been a first-time buyer as well as a seller, and understands the stress that can come with a major transaction. He can minimize that stress with his understanding and ability to explain each step of the buying process. He has also owned a Tenancy in Common (TIC) and is familiar with the intricacies of that process, as well as the positive and negative aspects of this type of homeownership.
