Although skills, knowledge and expertise are essential in handling a real estate transaction, Tanner believes the first step in assisting his clients is clear communication and understanding their requirements and desires.

Communication has always held a primary position in Tanner’s professional life. He graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a degree in Psychology and Mathematics. Well-versed in understanding both abstract and linear ways of thinking, he possesses the ability to follow and break down current and evolving market trends and determine how they factor in to the best interest of his client.

Tanner’s appreciation and enthusiasm for real estate is contagious. He grew up in the suburbs of New York City. From an early age, architecture and interior design were always among his passions. His real estate career began years ago with Sotheby’s International Realty on the East Coast. From there, he transitioned his luxury skills to the West Coast and joined Sotheby’s International Realty - San Francisco in 2013.

From the people of San Francisco to the magnificent architecture of its properties, Tanner considers it an honor to represent San Francisco real estate. He has lived in San Francisco for 11 years and has resided and experienced the Western Addition, Nob Hill, Castro, Pacific Heights, and Hayes Valley.

When Tanner isn’t scouring the city for new opportunities for his clients, he enjoys running marathons, swimming, biking, and skiing. Tanner is an avid golfer and proud uncle of his two beloved nephews, Dante and Silas.
