Karen Saghi is an advisor and advocate whose satisfied clients reward her with repeat business and referrals. Recognized as in the top three percent of agents nationwide, she has held a real estate broker’s license since 1991, with her business and sales acumen backed by 20 years of experience as an attorney and litigator. Combining her sharp analytical skills with the innate ability to empathize with her clients’ needs, Karen excels at bringing her clients to a financially successful, worry-free closing.

Customer-centric, Karen enjoys providing her clients a competitive edge in this heated market. Known as “Ms. Diplomacy” to some, her negotiation skills allow her to ward off potential conflicts and soothe over personality differences. Karen’s partnership with Sotheby’s International Realty is an added bonus on many levels, particularly its local-national-international marketing reach, and allows her to share inventory not yet available in the broader market.

Karen represents buyers and sellers, alike. Her buyers appreciate her ability to guide them through multiple offer situations. Her sellers appreciate her strategic pricing which allows them to obtain maximum sales price. Drawing on her creative problem-solving, Karen has secured and sold for her clients varying types of residential properties throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area: penthouse cooperative apartments, single-family homes, a 300-acre Napa Valley ranch, original and renovated Victorian homes, bank-owned properties, a reconstructed vandalized home, tenancies-in-common, and luxury view condominiums.

Along with her broker’s license, Karen holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law; a B.A. in French with a minor in Mandarin Chinese from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio; is a Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist; a member of the California Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors; as well as a member of the State Bar of California.

Passionate about performing, she is an active member of the Children’s Theater Association of San Francisco (www.ctasf.org) performing live musical theater to thousands of public school children each year. Karen is a competitive tennis player at the California Tennis Club, and a member of the singing group, the High Seas, an auditioned a capella jazz ensemble sponsored by the St. Francis Yacht Club. Skilled as a performer and speaker, she enjoys presenting educational seminars on a variety of real estate topics.
