Born in Belgium and raised and educated throughout Europe, Harold has a significant part of his heart in San Francisco. He met his wife in this fair city, their daughter and son were born here, and he has spent more than a decade studying San Francisco and its unique neighborhoods and micro-climates (with particular attention paid to the restaurant scene).

Through his time working at Yahoo in marketing and business development, Harold has become accustomed to a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and is continuously inspired by the creative energy of Silicon Valley. A true techie, Harold believes firmly in keeping up with new technology and keeping ahead of new trends; he runs his entire business paperless from his iPad, is never without Evernote, and has video as a part of his DNA. He believes that technology is what makes him (and therefore his clients) more efficient, strategic, and competitive.

Having bought, fixed, and sold well over 50 properties for his own account, with his own money on the line, Harold knows the ins and outs of what makes a transaction successful: from acquisition, and how to find value in a property that others have overlooked, to getting an offer accepted in San Francisco's very competitive environment, to resale and what strategic modifications will make a house irresistible to today’s discerning buyers.
