GENE B. OGDEN has a great passion for residential real estate, helping individuals both buy and sell their homes. As a San Francisco resident and homeowner for nearly 20 years, he has developed a deep knowledge of the Bay Area marketplace, its unique character and how to maximize value when buying or selling real estate.
As a young adult, he purchased his first condominium and, over time, bought and sold multiple properties in the city, many of which required renovations and remodeling. With that experience, Gene is keenly aware of the influence style and design can have on increasing value with a real estate investment and brings this critical perspective to his clients.
A former executive in the buying office for Williams-Sonoma Home, Pottery Barn and Gump's of San Francisco, Gene has a background in creating marketing and merchandising presentations, negotiating pricing and developing business strategies as a result of ongoing competitive analysis and understanding the marketplace. This work, all focused on achieving financial objectives while providing quality customer service, has translated well into his career in real estate.
The cornerstone of Gene’s philosophy and process is simple. It’s taking an honest, practical look at each client’s specific needs and working towards exceeding their expectations.
While known for his personal integrity and business acumen, Gene is also sought after for his genial spirit and commitment to the Bay Area. He continues to support many programs that further the growth of San Francisco, including the sponsorship of a variety of not-for-profit organizations and the creation of endowment scholarships.
