Luxury Homes and Real Estate - Sotheby’s International Realty

Callum Hutchins

Callum Hutchins has built a real estate practice predicated on client goals, confidentiality, ethics and long-term relationships. Instead of cold-calling, door knocking or doing random mailings to people he does not know, Callum spends that time relentlessly focusing on the needs of existing clients. The ultimate goal is to have the client enthusiastically recommend his services to friends, relatives and associates.

In today's market the purchase or sale of real estate is extremely sophisticated when done correctly, with many opportunities for the client to succeed or fail. Callum has been licensed since 1993, and over that time has become a skilled negotiator, a trusted advisor and a master facilitator. Clients have rewarded him with referrals, and since 1998 he has been recognized as a sales leader. Before joining Sotheby's International Realty in 2006 to take advantage of the company's marketing reach and international connections, Callum practiced at Pacific Union, where in 2003 he was recognized as most emblematic of company ethics and for his contribution to others.

The motivation to practice real estate at a high level year after year comes from Callum's desire to help others. Young families need a home to raise their children, executives have to move to take other jobs, mature couples need to downsize and growing families move to the suburbs. For Callum, what makes the job worth doing is ensuring these clients achieve their dreams.

Callum is a native San Franciscan, and his deep understanding of the city makes him an expert in both established and emerging neighborhoods. A resident of Cow Hollow for over 35 years, he has worked, schooled and played in all corners of San Francisco. Callum attended Cathedral School for Boys and Lick-Wilmerding High School, and is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley.
