Terry Doan Shelton and Peter Shelton are both natives to the Pasadena area and are uniquely qualified to help buyers and sellers not only feel GREAT about their real estate transactions, but have a little fun along the way. Terry began her real estate career in 1979 when she joined her parents, Larry and Dudley Doan, as they launched and grew successful real estate companies in the Pasadena area - Doan Harbison Realty and Podley Caughey & Doan. When Terry and Peter moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1988, Terry joined the prestigious real estate company Harry Norman, Realtors - a firm of over 1000 agents serving the luxury home market. She was a member of the Senior Marketing Consultants, a group recognized for their leadership and dollar volume within Harry Norman, Realtors as well as a relocation specialist. Peter brings a strong business, marketing and communications background to residential real estate. After earning his MBA from Dartmouth College, he managed several national and multinational accounts, including Delta Air Lines and Wachovia Bank, during a 15 year career with award-winning marketing and advertising firms. However, Peter’s not a newcomer to residential real estate. Prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty, Peter worked for nationally recognized homebuilder, The Olson Company, helping to market and sell new townhome communities in the greater Los Angeles area. Additionally, Peter joined Terry at Harry Norman, Realtors and they worked together for 8 years as some of the top agents company-wide prior to moving back to Southern California. Peter and Terry can also make a difference to clients and their real estate transactions by providing counsel on how to save money and live comfortably through better energy efficiency and by making environmentally sensitive choices. Peter is a member of the US Green Building Council and a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accredited professional).
