Their background and experiences bring unique skills and abilities to each real estate transaction. Both were born and raised in Pasadena. They attended Pasadena Public Schools and the University of Southern California. Sharon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Language, and Rick graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Business Administration degree in Finance, Marketing and Quantitative Analysis. Rick is a continuing member of the National Business Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma. With the exception of a period of time in Palo Alto and Rancho Santa Fe, Rick and Sharon have resided in the local area. Their years in the San Gabriel Valley provide an understanding of the dynamics of the real estate market from the point of view of a long-term resident.
Rick has a 25-year background in the technology industry that encompasses extensive experience in sales and marketing management as well as business development and software management. With each position, long-term customer relationships were the key to Rick's success. Sharon has enjoyed a diverse career with several companies in the Pasadena area including a major engineering and construction firm. They volunteer their time in support of the Los Angeles County Arboretum and several organizations working on treatments and cures for age-related vision loss. The combination of their diverse backgrounds brings a unique blend of interpersonal, marketing and technology skills to their clients' real estate needs.
Since entering the real estate profession, Rick has assumed leadership positions within the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors (PFAR) and California Association of Realtors (CAR). His involvement includes 2008 PFAR President, multiple terms on PFAR's Board of Directors, Professional Standards Hearing Officer, and extensive involvement in MLS activities.
