Matilda Bambanian, M.B.A. joins Sotheby’s International Realty’s cadre of agents in Pasadena, California following an extensive career as a certified litigation trial paralegal in Los Angeles. Throughout her career, she was strategically involved in numerous high-profile legal matters including wrongful death, personal injury, product liability and real estate. Matilda earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from California State University at Northridge in 1992, her paralegal certificate from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1995, and recently, her Masters of Business Administration from Marylhurst University in Oregon in 2012. Matilda’s educational background coupled with her body of work complements her colorful personality and flair for creativity.
As a young lady, Matilda demonstrated a strong passion for the arts, earning a scholarship to the prestigious Otis Parson School of Design in Los Angeles, followed by a short, but vibrant career in film and television productions. Later, Matilda moved to Collector’s Nordstrom where she excelled in selling high-end designer fashion.
As a young teenager, Matilda’s family lived in such diverse metropolises as Tehran and Vienna before settling in the United States. The grandchild of a renowned physician from her mom’s side and an opulent real estate investor on her dad’s side, Matilda comes from a privileged family. She is fascinated by European art and culture. Her repeat travel destinations include London, Paris, Spain, Germany, Hawaii and Mexico.
Matilda has resided in the beautiful city of La Canada-Flintridge for the past fifteen years where her children attend the local distinguished private and public schools. Matilda is very active in her community at large and brings a dynamic network of friends, family and contacts to the firm.
