Mark Jerusalem

Mark Jerusalem has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience and has represented clients for nearly 14 years in residential real estate throughout Los Angeles. He began his real estate career at Coldwell Banker in Beverly Hills and is now based at Sotheby's International Realty in Pasadena. Mark represents clients in areas from the Hollywood Hills, West Hollywood, Los Feliz and Miracle Mile to Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena and various surrounding communities.

Mark's experience in sales began at an airline renowned for its slogan "You Can't Beat the Experience": Pan Am. He went on to hold positions in sales and marketing as an Account Executive and Manager of International Sales at various well-known global airlines before deciding to focus on selling real estate.

Mark's international background has influenced him both professionally and personally. Mark's first language was German and he holds both US and German/European Union citizenship as his parents moved to the United States a few years before he was born. As a teenager, he lived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and attended a boarding school in Salzburg, Austria. During college Mark received a scholarship to study in Mannheim, Germany. Having earned a Masters in International Business, Mark brings a professional understanding to the business of real estate, including expertise in marketing, finance and economics. Mark is passionate about home design and restoration as well as architecture and travel.

Having worked with an international clientele throughout his career, Mark particularly enjoys connecting with people from many backgrounds and cultures. Strategic thinking, patience and perseverance, coupled with a focus on understanding clients' particular needs, has helped ensure that the sellers he represents maximize their return on investment while his buyers can secure the home of their dreams. Mark recognizes that achieving client satisfaction goes beyond the pure financial aspect of the sale, so he takes the time to understand his clients' overall needs and long-term goals related to the lifestyle they seek and the real estate they want.

As a homeowner in South Pasadena, Mark is active in the community and has served on various boards. Since Mark is avid about the preservation of historic and significant architecture, he is proud to currently participate on the board of the South Pasadena Preservation Foundation.
