Samuel McLeod

Sam McLeod began his real estate career in 1972 as a California licensed real estate sales person. In 1977, he received his broker's license and spent 25 years as broker/owner of a multi-office international real estate franchise and is now associated with Sotheby's International Realty in Carmel, California Sam's experience includes representation at practically every level of all types of real estate transactions including single and multi-family residences, commercial buildings, motels, ranches and major subdivisions. Clients include bankruptcy trustees, lending institutions, estate administrators and relocation companies.

Sam's involvement in the non-sales aspect of the real estate industry includes service on committees at the local and state level of the realtor organization. He served two terms as President of the local Board of Realtors and Director and Regional Vice-President of the California Association of Realtors. He was awarded the "REALTOR EMERITUS" designation by the National Association of Realtors for more than 40 years of service to the real estate industry and the community.

For his many years of service to the community, Sam has received numerous awards including "Monterey County Veteran of The Year". He has been an active volunteer in several organizations and is the current President of Monterey County Sheriff's Advisory Council, a non-profit corporation supporting Sheriff's Deputies by providing funds for items not normally available through regular sources. Sam also is the 2013-2014 President of Rotary Club of Carmel By-The-Sea.
