After 18 years of building a successful Chiropractic practice, Patrick Ryan understands that the key to any relationship is trust. He spent 18 years devoted to helping people with their health care and life’s changes have brought him back home to the Monterey Bay Area and into the Real Estate world. Patrick received his BA in Business from California State University Fresno and after a stint of tending bar in New Orleans, he worked in sales for a New York company. Patrick was based in the Bay Area and had seven states in his territory. He then decided to go back to school and become a Chiropractor with the desire to help people on a one-on-one basis. After 18 years of practicing in the Santa Cruz and Fresno areas, health issues of his youngest son necessitated a move to the Monterey Bay Area where Patrick spent his childhood summers at the home his parents owned in Carmel. Patrick’s roots in the Monterey Bay area go deep, his father went to Sunset Elementary School in the 1930s and word has it that he set the hill on fire back then. Real estate “runs in the family”, as Patrick’s father, brother, uncle, and cousin all have spent years in the real estate profession.

Whether buying or selling a home, one needs to be able to trust that their agent has their best interests in mind. Patrick was able to build a successful practice over the past 18 years by doing just that. That requires putting one’s “ego” aside and truly listening the clients’ needs and wants. Building trust. Making the clients’ needs first and foremost. Emphatic listening at its best. Bringing honesty and positive energy into each and every transaction. Guiding clients and removing doubt and worry. Patrick truly wants the best for those he meets and his clients can always count on him to be there when needed - anticipating the dynamics of the real estate market.

Patrick lives in Pebble Beach with his wife Katie and two sons, Declan and Flynn, who are in elementary school in Pacific Grove. He has been a musician for 40 years and enjoys all forms of exercise including tennis, hiking, boogie boarding, and looks forward to really, really learning how to golf. His is an avid fan of history books and is addicted to Games of Thrones on HBO. He truly enjoys living in the Monterey Bay Area. To him, it is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
