Gin Weathers has a multi-level background in business, arts and culture. She was a specialist on building coalitions to support legislative issues for a major trade association in Washington D.C., and was also involved in the White House Conference for Children and Youth. Her education includes both B.S. and M.Ed degrees, and postgraduate work in journalism, real estate and communications. Weathers is a former trustee for the Monterey Museum of Art and Carmel's PacRep Theater, and serves on the board of directors for Carmel Chamber of Commerce as well as on the Steering Committee for the eMIISaries of the Monterey Institute of International Studies and the Advisory Committee for Carmel Heritage Society. She has been a consultant for business development, marketing and community relations. Her background in real estate includes the development and marketing of premier high-rise office buildings in Southern California, and consulting in government relations and public art programs. She has been helping sellers and buyers of property on the Monterey Peninsula for nearly a decade.
