Edward Hoyt is a marketing executive with extensive experience developing and managing successful organizations. After a successful 30-year career as an owner/operator of California radio stations, Edward and his wife, Darlyne, relocated to Pebble Beach. Edward put his marketing skills and knowledge to work in real estate, focusing on residential golf properties.

Edward's philosophy of marketing can be summed up in the simple definition of the difference between marketing and selling: marketing fulfills the need of the buyer, and selling fulfills the need of the salesperson. In a challenging real estate market, it takes marketing skill to cut through the clutter and get the attention of buyers.

In addition to his real estate practice, Edward has pursued and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics from the University of San Francisco. He is also a founding board member of 1st Capital Bank, with branches in Monterey and Salinas and a newly approved branch in King City.

Edward and Darlyne are both avid golfers and are members of Pasadera Country Club, Monterey.
