Dorothy brings many years of management experience in the real estate market. Having lived on the Monterey Peninsula for 30+ years, she is well acquainted with the area and its surroundings. She has also had the experience of buying and remodeling several homes on the Peninsula. Before entering real estate, Dorothy was active as a volunteer in the Carmel Unified School District, was the writer for Carmel Youth Baseball in Carmel's local newspaper, the Pine Cone, and served as President of the Parent Club at both Carmel River and Woods Schools. She is also a retired certified yoga instructor.

Dorothy was employed in property management before becoming the office manager for Re/Max Monterey Peninsula in the 1990s, during which time she was named as Re/Max's top administrator for Northern California in 1996. She recently became a certified Foreclosure Alternatives Consultant.

Dorothy and her husband, Ron, have joined Sotheby's International Realty as the Allen Team, and continually look forward to service to their clients with their experience, integrity and hard work.

Dorothy's three children were raised in Carmel and graduated from local schools before going away to college. All of them returned and are living and working on the Monterey Peninsula, and they have given her and Ron four wonderful grandchildren. Dorothy's activities include hiking, yoga, pilates, tennis, aerobics, and graphic and interior design. Dorothy and Ron are active members in the Carmel Chamber of Commerce and the Carmel Valley Athletic club.
