Ron and his wife, Dorothy, were named as one of the top producing teams in 2011 for Sotheby's International Realty. Having lived on the Monterey Peninsula for 30+ years, Ron is well acquainted with the area and its surroundings and brings many years of residential listing, sales and management experience in the real estate market. He has also had the experience of buying and remodeling several homes on the Peninsula.

Ron received a BA in advertising and marketing from Cal State University, San Francisco. After becoming a Realtor in Carmel in 1976 and a broker in 1984, he specialized in residential properties in the Carmel and surrounding areas and was on the Board of Directors for the Carmel Board of Realtors.

Prior to moving to Carmel, Ron owned and managed a furniture design store on the Big Island, Hawaii. Back on the Peninsula and in conjunction with the opening of the Monterey Bay Aquarium, he opened Bay Bikes, a bicycle touring and rental business with locations in Carmel, Carmel Valley and Cannery Row. He operated the business for over 18 years before returning to real estate. He served on the Board of Directors for the Cannery Row Association for 17 years and was on the Board of Directors for Carmel Youth Baseball.

Ron's children were raised in Carmel and graduated from local schools before going away to college. His son lives in and is an executive for an alternative energy finance company in England, and his daughter is in hotel management in Augusta, Georgia.

Ron's activities include tennis, golf, hiking, skiing, swimming and traveling. Ron and Dorothy are active members in the Carmel Chamber of Commerce, the Carmel Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Carmel Valley Historical Society and the Carmel Foundation, of which Ron is the Chairman of the Audit Committee.
