Michael Novotny, a broker who has served Malibu and Topanga since 2001, brings a wealth of experience to the local market both in management and sales, earning him a reputation as one of the most prominent and respected professionals on the Los Angeles Westside.
Novotny, who graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University, Malibu, with a degree in business and management, began his career in real estate in Malibu. A competing firm later appointed him vice president and general manager, and ultimately he was named chief executive officer and general manager by a major real estate brand.
Elected president of the Malibu Association of Realtors® in 1997, Novotny was honored as Realtor® of the Year in 2000. Known for his commitment to his community as well as his profession, he served as public works commissioner for the City of Malibu and has been director and president of the Point Dume Community Association since 2006. He also is a member and director of the City of Malibu’s Community Emergency Response Team. As a mentor and manager, Novotny is dedicated to helping others realize their full potential as real estate professionals.
