Catherine Gellert joins Sotheby’s International Realty - Los Feliz brokerage after 30 years as an American paintings and sculpture specialist in the fine art and auction industry. Throughout her career in the arts, she has developed exceptional negotiating and advisory skills with high net worth clients who require a high degree of confidentiality. These essential abilities have transferred perfectly to assisting her clients in navigating the challenging terrain of buying or selling their homes.
Having been very interested in real estate for many years, Catherine decided that the time was right to move forward in her career and follow her passion for residential real estate. A long-time resident of Larchmont Village, Catherine has an in-depth knowledge of the residential real estate market in the Larchmont Village, Hancock Park, Windsor Square and Brookside areas. Catherine is committed to advising her clients with honesty, integrity, discretion and dependability.
Catherine is an active parent volunteer of Pilgrim School and is the Secretary of the Building and Grounds Committee at First Congregational Church of Los Angeles. The Committee oversees the $18 million construction of a regulation-size soccer field, underground parking structure and the redesign of new playgrounds for Pilgrim School.
Catherine gives 5% of each paid commission to the Downtown Women’s Center in downtown Los Angeles. The Downtown Women’s Center helps homeless women and victims of domestic violence off of the streets and transitions them into stable housing and employment. The Center gives women in need the opportunity to develop productive lives.
