Over the course of her 25-year career as a realtor, Sanda Alcalay has negotiated real estate transactions for numerous clients in the best neighborhoods on the Westside. Her mission is to help her clients reach their goals, protect their interests during the home selling or buying process and obtain the highest sales price for their property or assist them in buying the home they love.

Sanda’s knowledge of the market trends and prices is very extensive. On a daily basis, she meets with Westside residents in Santa Monica North of Montana, Pacific Palisades in the Alphabet Streets, the Riviera South of Sunset, the Huntington and in Brentwood Hills to hear what they want and need so she can put people and properties together. This gives Sanda an incredible perspective and allows her to help her clients make informed decisions.

Sanda is also an expert marketer, who knows how to help her clients prepare their property to maximize its value and attract the greatest number of buyers through her customized campaigns and the Sotheby’s International Realty global network. Her mission is to obtain the highest sales price possible. Sanda also writes a weekly e-newsletter for nearly 3,500 Los Angeles professionals regarding what sellers and buyers most care and want to know about. At the beginning of her real estate career, Sanda, during the 1989 real estate market downturn became an expert negotiator. To this day, her negotiating strategies have helped her clients, sellers and buyer alike achieve their real estate goals.

Sanda is very involved in the communities where she lives and does business. She was the Pacific Palisades Rotary Club President for the first six months of 2009-2010, and served on the Board of the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce from 2008-2010. She was a member of MOCA and in the MOCA Director’s Forum from 2009-2010. Presently, Sanda belongs to The British American Business Council, the Italian American Chamber of Commerce West, the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce, le D.I.V.E and is an avid attendant of The Milken Institute Forums.

Sanda was raised in Milan, Italy. She came to the United States as a teenager and received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois-Champaign-Urbana. She also conducted post-graduate work at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. In 1976, Sanda moved to Los Angeles, where she became an entrepreneur and in 1989, became a realtor. Sanda and her husband live in Santa Monica. In their leisure time, they visit leading art exhibits and jazz events. They also enjoy walks and eating spaghetti.
