Nearly two decades of experience in real estate development and sales have provided Richard with the tools he needs to serve his clients with a broad range of skills. Starting with residential development and construction in Los Angeles, he fine-tuned his talents in areas such as design, construction planning, financing, marketing and negotiation. He began his real estate sales career working side-by-side with the top veteran agent in his firm, and has gone on to become one of the most respected professionals in the Brentwood brokerage office of Sotheby's International Realty. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and has continuing education in construction management and architecture.
Known and respected by his colleagues and clients alike for his expertise, honesty and people skills, he serves as a mentor for new agents and contributes to his community through recent and current charitable work for Habitat for Humanity, Learning Links Centers and Friendly House LA.
Richard has also been officially certified by the National Association of Realtors with the Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource designation (SFR). This designation along with his personal experience in this field gives his clients a great advantage when handling today's ever-growing number of distressed property transactions.
