With hundreds of transactions completed and over 20 years of residential real estate experience, Richard Wood has always made providing superior customer service his first priority. Building a trusting relationship is an essential part of Richard's success, and he takes great pride in making sure his clients know exactly what to expect during the process.
Residential real estate transactions are complicated today, with hundreds of pages of documents to review and sign, all with legal and financial consequences. A home sale or purchase should not be taken lightly and requires thorough advice to sellers and buyers, enabling them to make well-informed decisions. Shrewd negotiating tactics, current market analysis, up to the moment marketing strategies, excellent interpersonal skills, professional broker to broker relationships and the backing of a well-respected brand are components that must be weaved together seamlessly in order to close a deal efficiently. Choosing the right realtor is an important decision. Richard Wood has diligently worked over the years to hone all of these skills.
Richard was born and grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, and attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he earned a B.S. degree. Richard has lived in the West Los Angeles area for a total of 22 years. Richard believes that giving back to the community is important and volunteers with charities such as Habitat for Humanity and Learning Links Centers. He feels that Los Angeles is a great community with much to offer including great dining, cultural events, music, education and outdoor recreation. For Richard, these are the things that make Los Angeles a great place to live and work.
Richard is officially certified by the National Association of Realtors with the Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource designation (SFR) and also has acquired the Certified Negotiation Expert designation (CNE).
