Richard was born and grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, and attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he earned a B.S. degree. Richard has lived in the West Los Angeles area for a total of 22 years. Volunteering with charities such as Habitat for Humanity and Learning Links Centers, Richard believes that giving back to the community is important. He feels that Los Angeles is a great community and has much to offer such as great dining, cultural events, music, education and outdoor recreation. For Richard, these are the things that make Los Angeles a great place to live and work.

Richard is officially certified by the National Association of Realtors with the Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource designation (SFR) and also has acquired the Certified Negotiation Expert designation (CNE).
