Philip Spalding began his real estate career in 1979 in Beverly Hills, specializing in residential housing, California ranches and vineyards. He joined Sotheby's International Realty in 1997. Philip has extensive experience in residential sales, estate properties and probate and foreclosure sales. Over the years, he has established himself as a leading broker of Westside properties from Beverly Hills to Malibu. Having lived in the Far East and Europe, Philip has considerable expertise dealing with foreign principals and has represented properties in Ireland, Mexico and Italy. Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, he was associated with a leading Beverly Hills and Los Angeles real estate company, first as New Housing and Land Director and later as the Brentwood office's Estates Director. Philip is a member of BAFTA/LA and the Young Musicians Foundation, and a former member of the American Club in London. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Yale University and served as a lieutenant in the United States Navy. Philip has experienced the diverse cycles of the real estate market and has empathy and understanding for clients' needs.
