Marcella Collins

Marcy Collins grew up in Eastern Tennessee, near Knoxville, and attended college at East Tennessee State University. She graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and made her way east to Raleigh, North Carolina. She worked as a budget analyst for North Carolina State University during the day and managed a successful health club on nights and weekends. She had a knack for marketing and advertising and, after a few years of working in Raleigh, she got an opportunity to move west to California.

In 2000, Marcy moved to California’s central coast and started working in advertising. A Santa Barbara county home developer and client of hers saw great potential in her and hired her on the condition that she had 90 days to get her real estate license. Marcy passed with flying colors and sold hundreds of homes over the next decade.

Before Marcy left the new home industry, she was named Salesperson of the Year and received the prestigious Elån Sales Achievement Award by the Los Angeles and Ventura County Chapters of the National Association of Home Builders.

Marcy received her broker’s license in 2004 and continues to educate herself. She also completed extensive coursework and a thesis to achieve the NAHB’s Certified Marketing Professional designation.

While living in Santa Barbara County, Marcy volunteered as a Big Sister with the Big Brother/Big Sister program and gave her time and resources to foster newborn kittens with The Humane Society.

Marcy enjoys helping every buyer and seller navigate the exciting home market. Whether it be helping clients with an investment choice, relocation, or simply to find their very first home, Marcy has all the tools, resources, education and experience to help them make the right choices.
