Kat Nitsou grew up in a world of real estate. With her father’s obsession of the industry, she learned from a very young age the value and pride that can come from home ownership. Her family bought and renovated houses as she grew up and she was always keen on being around a construction site. Not just an observer, Kat learned how to paint, landscape and put up drywall by the age of 11. It was from this exposure she understood how exciting it was to watch how a house could become a home. Originally from Toronto Canada, of Macedonian parents, Kat came into her real estate career in an unconventional way. As a double major in Marketing and Entrepreneurial studies from Seneca Business School at Ryerson University in Toronto and California State University Northridge, she began working in the marketing department at Concord Adex which was putting up 16 condo structures on Toronto’s lakeshore. After business school, Kat pursued a different path and started a career as a private chef. As a classically French trained chef, Kat opened up her own business and has cooked for some of Los Angeles' elite. Being hired to cook in beautiful homes around the city only fueled her passion for real estate.

Her family has always treated real estate ventures as an investment and Kat has begun to do the same. While working as a private chef, Kat bought and renovated houses in Los Angeles and her love for real estate flourished into a full time career which now spans 6 years investing and rehabbing.
