With over 25 years of real estate experience in Westside properties, Joy Denton specializes in high-end residential sales. After many successful years in the business as a top producer, she joined Sotheby’s International Realty in 1997. A longtime resident of the Beverly Hills area, Joy is highly knowledgeable about homes there. In addition, she specializes in the surrounding neighborhoods of the Westside including Sunset Strip, Bel Air, Holmby Hills, Brentwood, and beyond to the beaches.
Joy earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from Syracuse University in New York. Her educational background in environmental design makes her uniquely qualified to advise clients regarding both the aesthetics of luxury properties and the potential for properties in need of renovation. Additionally, she has a highly developed skill for helping her clients stage their homes for sale to maximize their results. Joy seamlessly facilitates the transition for many of her clients to their new residences.
Joy has in-depth knowledge of the luxury condo market as well. She recently served as the Executive Director of Sales for Montage Residences Beverly Hills, achieving record-breaking sales. Subsequently, Joy was Director of Sales for the Beverly West Residences on Wilshire Blvd., developed by Emaar Properties. Joy was chosen for these high level positions based upon her proven ability to interface effectively with high net worth buyers while meeting the complex needs of ownership and simultaneously managing a dynamic sales team.
Joy serves on the Board of Directors for her homeowner’s association in Benedict Canyon. She was recently commended by NRT (Sotheby’s International Realty’s parent company) for being in the elite top 1% of all agents in the company. Joy was also recognized for being named in the Top 250 Sales Professionals nationally by transaction volume by The Wall Street Journal. Recently, Joy was named one of the top 25 agents by Sotheby’s International Realty companywide for 2013.
