A California native, Joan has been a Beverly Hills resident and Realtor for more than three decades, with nearly half of her professional career spent as an esteemed associate of Sotheby's International Realty. Prior to entering the real estate field, she owned Professional Design Concepts, a space planning and interior design firm. Her segue into assisting discerning buyers and sellers of fine property was seamless as it brought together her expertise in architecture, design and planning as well as her business skills in transactions, negotiation and marketing.

Joan is as dedicated to her community as she is to her career. Her lengthy history of local volunteerism has included assistance to the Beverly Hills Police Department, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the Grossman Burn Center. Her late husband, A. Fredric Leopold, was a two-term Mayor of Beverly Hills and served nine years on the community's city council.
