As a longtime resident of the Westside of Los Angeles, Jay worked as a co-marketing VP of Edmonds Record Group and also Island Def Jam. With the onset of the housing boom, he began purchasing homes in the west valley with oversight from initial purchase and renovation to listed and sold status. It was then that he was bit by the real estate bug, soon becoming co-owner of a mortgage company in Encino, CA. Spearheading its meteoric rise, he acquired in-depth knowledge of real estate finance, which is indicative of his understanding for the business in its entirety. This encouraged him to lend a hand on the agency side of his transactions.

Jay's knowledge and business acumen have allowed him to penetrate the markets of Calabasas, Bell Canyon, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Encino and Woodland Hills. His entertainment background has efficiently established a niche for securing tenancy, vacation rentals and purchases for well-known celebrities, musicians and athletes. Jay obtained a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in marketing/distribution from Cal State University Long Beach and UCLA. His memberships include the Southland Association of Realtors, Beverly Hills Greater Los Angeles Board of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. Jay is a gadget enthusiast, proud father and avid swimmer. He can mostly be found traveling with family abroad or seeing what new tech-inspired tools can be incorporated into his repertoire. He holds true to his values as a father and thinker and enjoys a good game of chess, Jeopardy! and vacationing in the Caymans. Jay is a children's outreach activist, donating generously to the LAFD, Toys for Tots, local schools and Habitat for Humanity.
