Emily Karaszewski is a native New Yorker who transplanted to Los Angeles 25 years ago via Miami, where she worked renovating the art deco properties in South Beach. In Los Angeles, she bought and sold her first home in Laurel Canyon, moving east to Outpost Canyon in the Hollywood Hills with her husband, who is a filmmaker.
They lived in a 1950s ranch house and, after ten years, rebuilt the home, transforming it into one of Los Angeles's most architecturally significant properties. She has a strong passion for homes that represent California's indoor/outdoor lifestyle and searches diligently for properties that take advantage of this unique landscape.
Emily sees change as a positive endeavor. She is invaluable during transitional times, especially throughout the process of buying a new home or selling an old one and moving on. She allows people to express their needs and desires in order to help them achieve their goals.
Her patience, positive attitude and creative eye make her indispensible to anyone looking to explore real estate options in Los Angeles. Emily is a graduate of Barnard College, was President of the Iyengar Yoga Association of Southern California and currently serves as a board of trustee at the Oaks School in Hollywood.
